Her long term strategies with more junior candidates include making calculated lateral moves to gain greater hands-on experience in either a more focused area of practice or one with a more general legal scope that leads to partnership opportunities and in-house placements.

Kathy Chandra is one of the founding partners of LRG International. Her professional background includes over 12 years of legal recruiting, marketing and management experience. Kathy prides herself on her direct and honest approach and has established long term, trustworthy relationships with her clients over several years. On the client development side, she regularly interacts with the heads of legal practice groups, recruiters, and directors at financial institutions. She has built long lasting accounts through her relationships with an intimate network of clients. She has been able to preserve these relationships by ensuring she matches her client’s demands with the best the profession has to offer. On the recruitment side, numerous factors need to considered when beginning a job search. Kathy is known to be an engaging, resourceful and insightful recruiter with an in-depth knowledge of several practices groups in the legal industry. She coaches her candidates through each phase of the job search process focusing clearly on an appropriate search, polishing resumes, business plans, and negotiates offers. Establishing an effective flow of communication, she clearly defines the needs of her clients and candidates.
